Channels are a type of human that have a special ability. This ability is to hear and see the deceased souls of our world. Most of them use this ability to find out more about who they want, but others use it to help the souls. Or they use it to help the people who the souls need to talk to. This ability is only something that humans can do because they aren't 'immune' of death, therefore they are more connected. Also, you must be born with this ability. It doesn't just randomly come up.
D E V I N E R ? ![/I][/color][/size]
A deviner is a version of an immortal human. Deviners, of course, are a new species. Unlike Channels, they haven't been around forever hiding. They are immortal humans who can control one of the four elements. Only one of the four, however. Also, they cannot have any other supernatural powers because if they do, their element leaves them and they become mortal. Their element is genetic, and you have to be born a deviner. You cannot magically become one. And like vampires and shape-shifters, they are 'super' humans by being super strong and fast.

This type of vampire is what the books call a 'vegetarian' vampire. This is because they do not drink the blood of humans, they drink the blood of animals. As a newborn it's inevitable that they drink human blood, but as they go on they learn to resist it. They are vampires with morals, basically. Their eyes are a warm gold when they are not craving blood and pure black when they need to feed. You cannot be born as one of these vampires, you have to get bitten by one and survive the transformation. If of course they don't kill you first. They are super strong and invincible, just like the carnies. And they are immortal, stuck at the age when they were transformed.

What? What's that? xD The only thing I have to say is in --MOONLIT SPIRITS humans may have powers.
H Y B R I D ? ![/I][/color][/size]
Basically the only hybrids that really work are vampire&&human hybrids and deviner&&human hybrids. And recently shifter&&human hybrid. This happens when the DNA is somehow mixed. For example, a human is impregnated by a vampire. Then their child will be a hybrid. The vampire&&human is basically a human that lives forever; with the warm skin and heart, but just as invincible as a vampire. The deviner&&human is a human with the powers of a deviner. They are not super strong or fast, just human with one element. Also, they are not immortal. The new shifter&&human hybrid is basically a shifter without any control over shifting. They can imprint and they do live forever. At least until the shifting decides to stop. Since it is uncontrollable, they have absolutely no idea when they will shift or how often it will happen.

This type of vampire is kind of the 'bad guy' of vampires, or carnivore vampire. They kill humans for their blood; they live off of it. Most of them are against vegetarian vampires because they think their morals are 'silly.' But their eyes alter from different shades of red. The brighter the red, the bigger their craving for human blood. You cannot be born a vampire, you have to get bitten and survive the transformation. These vampires are super strong and invincible, just like the veggies. And they are immortal, stuck at the age when they were transformed.

Shape-shifters have to forms; animal form and human form. Their human form is super strong and invincible, as well as their human form. Their shifting is either a result of a vampire coming into their area, or they have been bitten and their temper sets off. Yes, you can be born a shifter. Their life-span is forever, until they decide to stop shifting.
