Tanya's eyes are small and rounded, though her pupils themselves are quite large. Her eyes as a human were of bright blue, but her 'vegetarian' diet forces them into a light, golden color. Her eyes turn very dark, almost black when she is angry or depressed. In turn, they are light and golden when she is happy or content.

hair:

Tanya has long, blonde locks that hang generously past her breasts. Her hair is generally worn down and exists as a mess of waves, but the look suits her natural appearance.

Tanya is of average height. She stands at 5'4", which isn't too short or too tall.

Tanya doesn't have any piercings or tattoos, but she does have some distinguishing marks. The bite mark from her change is on her back, on the lower left side. She is very self-conscious about it, and hardly ever puts herself in position for someone to see it. She also has a few freckles that scatter across her cheeks in the hot summer.

Tanya's stature is quite small and petite, despite her normal height. She is comfortable in her skin, a pale complexion spreading across her features. She has a slightly pointed nose, thin face, and plump, pale lips. She definitely has a sort of sex appeal about her, especially with her messy, long locks. She likes wearing short dresses, or plaid shirts hung open and shorts. She is also a big fan of long shirts and leggings, or just the shirt with a bikini underneath. She is probably one of the only vampires that enjoys dressing in bikinis, but she finds them comfortable and loose. Her style is very sexy, but she seems to pull it off without coming across as a slut. She finds the woman's body to be an erotic place of ecstacy, and likes to support it with her own look.

Tanya is a very playful and sweet person. She was one of the original succubus sisters, meaning she literally can seduce men with her looks through sexual intercourse. Tanya has outstanding leadership skills, and uses them as leader of the Denali Coven. She used to be very cruel, leading her sisters into seducing human men before they drained them of their blood. She finally caught sense of right and wrong, and trained herself and her sisters to become vegetarian, like the Olympian Coven. She is extremely loyal, especially to her coven and to Carlisle. She feels that she and Carlisle have a very emotional connection, and refers to her coven as part of their extended family. She is especially affectionate, and loves to be so.

Tanya is very insightful. She has common sense, but is intrigued by the human and vampire though process. She is very respectful and welcoming, and likes to make people feel accepted. Tanya is gracious in every way, respecting opinions of others. She is very open to alternatives for people to see themselves as herself. She likes a variety of different people, and hardly ever becomes confrontatonal and angry. Miss Denali is often depressed because of her lonliness, and turns to her coven for friendships. She secretly wants to find companion in someone, though is not sure she ever will. She isn't demanding or revealing. Tanya keeps to herself and her clan mostly, unless the Olympian Coven needs their help or company.

history:

Tanya was originally from Slovakia, where her adoptive mother found her dying at the age of 21. Sasha Denali changed Tanya, and Tanya became the first Denali sister. Sasha then changed two more girls, Irina and Kate, who were younger than Tanya. At first, the Denali Coven worked great together. However, it wasn't long before the Volturi came across them. They accused Sasha of creating an immortal child, of which she confessed to. As such, Sasha was burned at the stake with Tanya's unknown brother, Vasilii. It traumatized the three sisters, but they began to be purists of vampire law and learned to never disobey. Tanya became the leader of the Denali Coven after Sasha was killed, and took on the motherly role that Sasha had come to acquire.

At first, Tanya led her sisters into seducing men then draining them of their blood. But after a while, she learned that it wasn't right. They met Carlisle and became similar to him, becoming vegetarian vampires. They moved to Denali, Alaska to restrain themselves and train to become like Carlisle. After being alone for quite some time, two lovers Carmen and Eleazar came to join them. They fit in well with the Denali Coven, and their spark made Tanya want what they had. She wanted to be able to love, too. It wasn't long before Edward Cullen came to visit them. At first, she thought he was visiting because he liked her. She had met him when she met Carlisle, and ever since been infatuated with him. She misinterpreted his visit. But when Edward explained he did not reurn her feelings, she simply accepted his reasoning and they remained good friends. Although she didn't know he was having trouble resisting Bella's scent, she advised him that he would do the right thing and encouraged his return to Forks.

A few years later, the Denali Coven were asked by Carlisle to come visit. They had heard of the fight between Victoria and the Olympian Coven, but they had not joined them.This, Tanya regretted. Upon returning to Forks, Tanya apologized on behalf of her coven and insisted they be granted as part of their extended family. At first, Tanya did not believe that Renessme wasn't an immortal child. But when Carmen let the child explain, Tanya was completely convinced and assured Carlisle they would be witnesses. They stood by the Cullens as the Volturi came with their army, even though the Volturi tried to provoke Tanya and Kate by killing their sister. Tanya became devastated that they would kill Irina, but calmed herself long enough for the Cullens to win their argument.

The Denali Coven returned to Alaska, but remained great friends with the Cullens and began to visit more often. Upon returning to Alaska, the pioneer-vampire Garrett joined their coven. He became Kate's mate, leaving Tanya the only 'single' vampire in the coven. While lonliness strikes her frequently, she tries to convince herself that she will find companionship one day. Until then, she continues to attempt to reassure herself that the immortal life for her will not continue to be lonely.
