Dear Journal,
Well, this is what I've been putting off for a good hundred years. I might as well start now. I met someone in the woods. Surveying the land for Aro. He let me leave for a while. Anyway. Her name's Aubree. She see's ghosts. That doesn't sound as freaky as being a vampire, does it? But she's shorter than me. And is completely terrified of me, absolutely.
Anyway. I'm not exactly sure what she thinks of me. But of course, I'm no Aro, so I doubt I'll ever really know. Unless she tells me. She's nice enough, even though she does have a lot of questions, the same as I did when I just noticed that there really was a vampire world. I didn't not expect that though. I thought it was just part of knowing. But now she knows everything, all I have to do is hope that Aro never finds out.
If he does, then we both will be in trouble. Of course, I'm ready to protect her if I have to, I'll help in everyway I can, if she'll let me. Or if she would like, I'll change her myself. I'm not sure what to do. But, what do you expect of a 14 year old, over three hundred year old vampire? Yeah, not much.
Of course, I bet I sound like a young human child brushing off the thought of homework to a parent, saying that they can't be trusted to remember it. I admit, you hear alot in three hundred years.
