 With the reign of Albert Wesker finally over, Chris Redfield, Sheva Alomar, Jill Valentine and other B.S.A.A members were able to continue their line of work without the interruptions of Wesker. Believing him to be finally beaten, a year passed and the B.S.A.A were finally cracking down on all the BOWs and zombies that roamed the world; The nightmare gradually fading away. However, little did they know, Wesker was somehow able to survive the explosion, allowing him to continue living on without the B.S.A.A knowing about it. Using this opportunity, Wesker went undetected for around a year, gathering resources, allies, BOWs and various other zombies. Oddly enough, he was able to mix his resources with his knowledge of resurrection, ultimately bringing back several old and deadly enemies of Chris, Sheva, Leon and other foes that Wesker deemed useful to his intentions. Undetected and dangerous, Chris, Sheva, Jill, Leon and other important faces are oblivious to Wesker and his devious plans, and nothing could prepare them for what was going to come next.
