just an ordinary day

[ELECTRA ISADORA TABER]

It was just an ordinary morning in the life of Electra Taber. She woke up around four-thirty in the morning, made a small breakfast which included scrambled eggs a few pieces of bacon and a nice hot cup of tea. Even though she was part vampire she enjoyed a regular human breakfast but once in awhile she needed human blood. After breakfast she straightened up her already immaculate house and threw on her usual jogging attire. Which consisted of a curve hugging black tank-top, shorts and her favorite electric pink puma running sneakers. Issy threw her long chocolate colored hair up into a tight pony tail before heading outside and locking the door. She did the same routine everyday except for vacations of course and even then she would still go for a run. There was something about running that she enjoyed it was like a freeing feeling not to mention the adrenaline rush made her body feel good.

Her brown eyes took a quick glance of her surroundings. By now it was almost six in the morning and the sun was just beginning to rise. Fortunately for her she was a hybrid and there fore her skin was not effected by the sun. Electra inhaled the fresh dew scent of the grass before walking up the dirt driveway onto the street. She lived by herself in a small cottage like house on the outskirt of Forks. Her home was partially hidden by woods and you could only see the driveway if you were actually paying close attention for it. She liked her privacy and no one really bothered her besides her best guy pal Sullivan. He barged in from time to time to check up on her just like a big brother should. Electra didn't mind at all unless she had company over and was about out to get intimate. It would just seem odd and un-comfortable if Sullivan was down stairs as she howled like a banshee with pleasure. Not like she had company over that often so that was a slim chance of happening. Unfortunately her cheating tendencies did put a damper on any possible relationships she could or would have had. Sometimes it felt like a part of her was missing. She didn't want to spend eternity alone, sure she could always have flings but that cant satisfy her forever she needed a soul mate. A person she could share her life, feelings and dreams with. Electra wanted to change her ways but perhaps if a right guy came along she just might.

Miss. Taber preferred to run in the woods then on a flat surface but she always started on the paved road for some strange reason. She did a few warm up stretches with her legs before taking off in a jog down the road. It was quite in the morning that was one of the reasons she preferred running that early. The only thing you could here were birds and other wildlife. It was peaceful.

What felt like a half hour of jogging was only half of that. Usually she did the first thirty minutes on a flat surface before running over terrain but she was getting bored so decided to cut short and just go into the woods. Issy found a small clearing where she entered the woods, the sun was finally out and now she could actually see where she was going. It didn't take long before she put on the brakes as it were, due to her faulty shoe laces. Yes those were indeed her favorite shoes but when it came to running in the woods they sucked. Her laces would come undone numerous times throughout the morning until she triple knotted them. Which she now was doing. Electra found a decent size rock were she put her shoe up to fix the laces instead of having to kneel on the ground and get her knees all dirty. "Stupid freaking laces! Why do you suck?!"

[/b]She snickered under her breath. The funny thing was she knew she would have to do the same thing over and over again this morning but she still never learned her lesson and wore the same shoes every time she ran.
