general appearance: Paul is a very average sized person. Not as tall or wide as the other pack members, he has not many distinguishing features as a human. He has black hair and very dark brown eyes. He is fairly muscular, but not as much as other pack members. His copper skin is nothing different of his "brothers'" skin tones. As for his facial features, they are very defined. His narrow nose and broad lips are what mostly make him recognizable. As a wolf, Paul is very different in appearance. He has bright, dark, silver fur. Height-wise, he is very tall. Although, Sam Uley is taller. The transformation takes him from roughly 6 feet to a giant mass of fur 5 times as big and twice as tall. His eyes remain dark as a wolf. His sharp features also are preserved through the change. His giant head is distinguishable through his sharp nose and pointed muzzle.

Paul is very complex. To people who aren't very close to him, he is a grumpy kid with an attitude. He actually has a great personality. He is extremely loyal to Sam Uley. Although he has terrible control of his anger, he has massive determination in anything he tries. He will not give up easily. His stubborn nature is a big part of who he is. Admitting a loss is not something he will quickly do.

Back to the temper...it's bad. Paul is very easily annoyed and will phase instantly, making him the most volatile member of the wolf pack. He hates it when people disagree with him and he somtimes has irrational thoughts, although he'll defend himself through anything. Here defines one of his biggest weaknesses. He refuses to listen to what others have to say. It is not rare for him to become so enraged that he loses control.

He loves being a wolf and he is whenever he can be. He enjoys alone time once in a while, but he will go out of his mind if he has to go too long without certain people. Very independent in most situations, he turns dependent when it comes to his relationships. This is one of the unexpected aspects of his personality that is most dominant.

Paul is a Quileute teenager who can turn into a werewolf. He was the second one to join the pack. He is most volatile member of the pack, he became so enraged when he learned Jacob told Bella about the pack that he turned into a wolf and attempted to kill her. He later seems to have no ill feelings towards Bella or Jacob. He is prone to angry outbursts, causing him to burst into his wolf form. Not much is known about Paul's early life except that he changed after Sam, and was the second person to become a shape-shifter.

How did he get to La Push? His family had been there for generations. His father had a high status in the Quilete tribe, and was closely related to either the Uley's or the Euphraim's. This is not positively known. As a child, he was no different from everyone else at his school in La Push. He grew up without much knowledge of wolves being descendants of members of the pack.
