It's been six years since the battle between the covens and the Voultri. The smell of blood and the scars of fire still etched forever into the land where the great battle had been fought.

Ever since the Volturi have been watching closely. But they weren't the only ones nor were they the first. Another powerful royal family has been watching too. The Mohegans, decendants of the orginal tribe of werewolf who first came across the 'cold ones'.
There have always been prophecies there but now they've begun to come to pass. As if the split of the wolf packs wasn't enough. The two royal familes fear more, a true abomination in the eyes of both. A mixing of the blood lines.
As the treaty of the La Push wolves and the the Cullen vampyres hangs by threads, something else threatens to sever what little holds them together. Even if it means to kill their own kind.[/font]
