Fight An Eclipse



Washington. It’s the supernatural hotspot of the United States and nobody even knows it. Forks, La Push and even Seattle are all full of supernatural creatures. La Push is overrun with werewolves of two types. First are the shifters- Quileute Indians who can change into large wolves at will to protect humans from their sworn enemies, the vampires. And then there are the Lycans who are the Children of the Moon. They are more traditional werewolves from the stories you grew up with. Only born lycans can shift at will and they are rare. Most of the few left are bitten. They stand against vampires because they were nearly hunted to death by the Volturi. Many have lost everything to the vampires- their homes, families and friends. For this reason they have a mutual agreement with the La Push shifters to protect themselves and others from vampires.

The Cullens are slowly rebuilding themselves. Hardships have befallen them at every turn, but things are finally starting to look up for our favorite clan. After miscommunications, lies, cheating, and everything else that has befallen them, they are finally starting to get their act together and come back to where they were before. With a few additions to the family of course. Emma and Dorian, the hybrid twins of Bella and Edward, and also Maria has joined their ranks, much to Alice's dismay. While things may not be perfect, they are certainly getting there.

When a carnival came rolling through Port Angeles it was set up to be the highlight of the summer. People from all over Washington came to visit and have a little bit of fun in the beginning of the summer. Unfortunately, an earthquake rocked the small town and caused damage to everything around it. People were hurt and buildings crumbled. In the middle of it all were the supernatural beings. They had to come together with the human world and try to pick up the pieces left in the wake of such a natural disaster.

And thats not the only thing thats shaking up Port Angeles right now. A week after the earthquake the Cullens got a bit of a surprise- Peter and Charlotte came calling and told them of their new life. No longer soldiers in Maria's army, they took a page from the Cullen's book and began to live their lives as vegetarians. All was well for years in Newfoundland, until an internal battle waged and threatened to expose the vampires. Now Peter and Charlotte are at the helm of a new coven of vegetarians who have come to settle in Port Angeles. They feel it would be wise to stick close without being too close as a means of protection.

Problem is, the Volturi have always been wary of the Cullen clan and are now suspicious of the newly settled coven. What exactly is Carlisle Cullen up to by bringing all these new vampires in to his friendship? And most importantly, why does he need to keep the vampire covens so close to him? Fearing they are soon to be overthrown in a battle of the ages, the Volturi have been deploying the best of their guard to come to Washington and keep an eye on things. If there is any danger, they want to be prepared and have a fighting chance to stop the Olympic vampires once and for all.

In turn, the wolves are doubly alert at the sudden influx of vampires to the area. The original treaty destroyed, a new one has been formed with the alpha Jacob Black. Sam has given up his position as alpha because he can no longer handle himself. With his new wife Emily pregnant, he cannot take the risk of something happening to her due to her friendship with Bella Cullen.

So the little town of Forks once again has its hands full of the supernatural business. There are the humans who are unaware of whats going on and there are those who wish they were. School let out for the summer and many of the locals are leaving for college in the fall, making this the last summer they will all be gathered together. That is enough to make any human crazy.


What happens when you put this much supernatural activity into an area with so many innocent oblivious people? That’s easy. You get FIGHT AN ECLIPSE, an AU Twilight site that keeps the drama coming.

Its bound to be one interesting summer.
